Start your day with a delicious breakfast before departing for Lonavala, a breathtaking hill station known for its lush greenery and scenic landscapes.

Upon arrival, visit Lohagad Fort, one of Maharashtra’s iconic hill forts. Situated 52 km northwest of Pune at an altitude of 1,033 meters, this historic fort was primarily under the Lohtamia empire and briefly under Mughal rule for five years.

Next, explore the Karla Caves, also known as Karli Caves or Karla Cells—ancient Buddhist rock-cut caves dating back to the 2nd century BC – 5th century AD.

Before returning to Pune, take a relaxing break at the serene Lonavala Lake, soaking in its tranquil beauty.

 

On Day 3, embark on a journey from Pune to Mumbai, the vibrant financial capital of India. Upon arrival, visit the iconic Taj Mahal Palace, a luxurious five-star hotel in the heart of Colaba, known for its rich history and architectural grandeur.

After a delightful breakfast, set out to explore Mumbai’s iconic landmarks. Begin your day at the Gateway of India, a grand arch-monument built on Mumbai’s waterfront. Completed in 1924, it was constructed to commemorate King George V’s ascension as Emperor of India in 1911.

Next, take a leisurely stroll along Juhu Beach, the city’s most famous shoreline, known for its golden sands, lively atmosphere, and street food delights.

Conclude your day with a visit to the Elephanta Caves, a magnificent collection of rock-cut cave temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Located on Elephanta Island, these caves were designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987.

Head to Dona Paula Beach, where you can enjoy thrilling water activities like water skiing, kayaking, parasailing, and windsurfing. Then, visit the Shri Shantadurga Temple, devoted to Goddess Shantadurga, the Goddess of Peace.

Continue your journey to Mayem Lake, a serene spot ideal for paddle boating and birdwatching. Visit the Panaji Handicrafts Emporium for authentic Goan souvenirs, followed by the Shri Saptakoteshwar Temple, one of Goa’s most revered temples.
