Today, you will board a domestic flight from Rotorua to Christchurch. Upon your arrival in Christchurch, you will be swiftly transferred to your chosen accommodation.

Venture across the picturesque Canterbury Plains, making a stop at Lake Tekapo and its iconic 'Church of the Good Shepherd.' Continue your journey towards New Zealand's loftiest peak, Mount Cook. From there, follow the tranquil shores of Lake Pukaki as you traverse the storied Central Otago region, ultimately arriving in the alpine wonderland of Queenstown.

 

Begin your day with an early rise as the sun casts its first rays over the horizon. Set forth towards the southern shoreline of Lake Wakatipu, passing through Lumsden en route to Lake Te Anau. Continue your journey into the awe-inspiring Eglinton Valley, and traverse the remarkable Homer Tunnel, a testament to human ingenuity. This brings you to the magnificent Milford Sound, a world-renowned fiord graced by the imposing presence of Mitre Peak and the resplendent Bowen Falls. A delightful buffet lunch awaits you aboard the cruise. After a day of enchantment, return to the charming town of Queenstown.

From the exhilaration of bungy jumping to the thrill of white-water rafting, or the rush of a jet boat ride, there is no shortage of adventures to embark upon. For a more leisurely experience, ascend the gondola and savour panoramic views of this stunning region.

Bid farewell to Queenstown as our experienced tour representatives guide you through the stunning landscapes. Travelling via Lake Wanaka and the Haast Pass, you'll venture into the heart of the West Coast's native forests, past rugged mountain ranges and shimmering lakes, until you reach the glacier region, where the Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers await your exploration.

On this day, your journey will take you northward to Greymouth, where you'll board the TranzAlpine train (for seat in coach passengers exclusively). Traverse through the verdant beech forests, passing the quaint alpine village of Arthur's Pass, before embarking on a breathtaking journey across the magnificent Southern Alps. Continue your voyage over the picturesque Canterbury Plains until you reach Christchurch.

 

Today, our expert tour guide will lead you on a captivating exploration of Christchurch, visiting Monavale Gardens, the Arts Centre, the University, the Botanical Gardens, the Museum, and meandering along the serene Avon River.
