Tour Plan
Tour guests will arrive at Guwahati Airport as per their scheduled flight. Upon arrival, AKA World Tour Manager will meet these guests at the airport and guide them with airport formalities and lead the way to Shillong – The capital of Meghalaya.
Joining and Leaving (J&L) tour guests will join the group on their own at the first destination as per the information and guidance given by the AKA World Travel consultant.
J&L guests should book their to and fro air tickets as per the arrival and departure time of the scheduled tour flight to get the airport transfers with the group.
In case of early arrival or early departure the transfer charges to reach the designated place or hotel will be borne by the J&L guests.
Today we explore the city of Shillong, we visit the Cathedral of Mary (Subject to operation), followed by Ward’s Lake, Lady Hydari Park, and the iconic Don Bosco Museum – which gives deep insights into the tribal culture of Northeast India.
We then visit the beautiful Elephant Falls. Later we head to Police Bazar, where we can indulge in some local street shopping and explore Shillong’s cafes and pubs on our own.
Today we go on a full-day excursion to Cherrapunjee, one of the wettest places on earth. On the way, we visit Mawsmai Caves, Seven Sisters Falls, and the magnificent Nohkalikai Falls – the tallest plunge waterfall in India. We also visit the peaceful Ram Krishna Mission.
We return to Shillong by evening and unwind at our hotel.
Today we proceed for a full-day excursion covering Mawlynnong and Dawki. At Dawki, we witness the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River and enjoy a peaceful boat ride. We also visit the Indo-Bangladesh border at Tamabil.
Later, we visit Mawlynnong Village – awarded as the ‘Cleanest Village in Asia’. We visit the Balancing Rock and take a small walk to the Living Root Bridge – a marvel of bioengineering by the Khasi tribe. We stroll around the village to admire the beautiful gardens, thatched huts and the eco-friendly lifestyle of the locals.
We return to Shillong in the evening.
Today we proceed to Guwahati.

Tour guests will proceed to the airport as per their scheduled group flight departure time to start their journey back home.
Joining and Leaving (J&L) tour guests will leave the group after the scheduled program. If these guests have flight timing and airport same as per the schedule group, they can avail the airport transfers with the group. If not then, any transfer charges to reach their respective airport, cruise, rail, or bus terminal will be borne by the J&L guests.
