Board the train from Coimbatore Junction Railway Station to reach New Jalpaiguri.

The second day of your trip will be reserved for your journey to New Jalpaiguri.

Upon arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, our tour representatives will warmly welcome you and assist with your transfer to Gangtok.
 Enjoy the scenic drive through lush landscapes and winding mountain roads. After completing the check-in formalities at your hotel, unwind and spend the rest of the day at your leisure, 
exploring nearby attractions or simply relaxing. Overnight stay at your hotel in Gangtok.

After a hearty breakfast, set out to explore the breathtaking Tsongmo Lake, also known as Changgu Lake. Nestled at an altitude of 3,753 meters, this glacial lake remains frozen during winter and reflects different hues with changing seasons, making it a mesmerizing sight. Revered by the locals, the lake holds deep cultural and spiritual significance.

Later, visit the Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, a shrine dedicated to an Indian army soldier, Baba Harbhajan Singh, who is believed to guard the borders even after his passing. Located at 13,123 feet, between Nathu La and Jelep La Pass, this temple is a place of great reverence.

Return to your hotel in Gangtok for an overnight stay.

Start your day with a delightful breakfast before embarking on a half-day sightseeing tour of Gangtok. Begin at the Banjhakri Falls and Energy Park, a scenic recreation center located next to an army camp, conceptualized under the leadership of former Chief Minister Pawan Kumar Chamling.

Continue to the Do Drul Chorten, a sacred stupa built in 1945, renowned for its intricate architecture and spiritual significance. Dive into Tibetan history and culture at the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, home to a vast collection of Tibetan manuscripts, artifacts, and a museum. Conclude your Gangtok tour with visits to the Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom and the Flower Exhibition Centre, where you can admire a variety of exotic Himalayan flora.

By afternoon, depart for Darjeeling, enjoying the scenic journey through lush tea gardens and misty mountains. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and unwind for the night.


 

Start your day early with a visit to Tiger Hill, where you’ll witness one of the most breathtaking sunrises as the first rays of light illuminate the Kanchenjunga peaks. This spot also offers a panoramic view of Mount Everest and other majestic Himalayan ranges.

On your way back, stop by the Batasia Loop, a remarkable spiral railway offering stunning views of Mount Kanchenjunga and the surrounding snow-covered peaks. Continue to Ghoom Monastery, famous for its 15-ft tall statue of Maitreya Buddha and serene ambiance.

After breakfast at your hotel, set out to explore Darjeeling’s other iconic attractions. Visit the Japanese Buddhist Temple, built under the guidance of Nichidatsu Fujii, a revered Buddhist monk from Japan. A trip to Darjeeling would be incomplete without a visit to its tea estates, where you can experience the region’s world-famous tea culture.

Other highlights of the day include the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Tenzing and Gombu Rock, and the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre. Wrap up your adventure with a scenic cable car ride on the Darjeeling Ropeway, offering breathtaking views of lush forests, waterfalls, rivers, tea gardens, and picturesque valleys.


In the morning, leave for the New Jalpaiguri Railway Station to board a train to Kolkata.

Upon your arrival in Kolkata, check in to your hotel and enjoy a delightful local lunch. After refreshing yourself, set out for a half-day exploration of the City of Joy.

Begin your journey with a visit to the Kalighat Kali Temple, one of the most sacred Shakti Peethas, dedicated to Goddess Kali. This revered temple, believed to be over 200 years old, holds deep spiritual significance. En route, marvel at the Vidyasagar Setu, commonly known as the Second Hooghly Bridge, an architectural marvel spanning the Hooghly River.

Next, head to the Botanical Garden, a vast 109-hectare green oasis featuring an incredible variety of over 12,000 plant species, including rare herbs, shrubs, and the iconic Great Banyan Tree, which boasts the largest canopy in the world.

After a serene evening surrounded by nature, return to your hotel for a relaxing overnight stay.

On the ninth day of your journey, immerse yourself in the cultural and historical splendor of Kolkata by visiting some of its most iconic landmarks.

Begin your day at Belur Math, situated on the west bank of the Hooghly River. Founded by Swami Vivekananda, this spiritual center serves as the headquarters of the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission. Next, pay a visit to Dakshineswar Kali Temple, a revered Hindu temple dedicated to Goddess Kali, known for its stunning architecture and deep spiritual significance.

Continue your tour with a visit to Dalhousie Square, a district that showcases remnants of Kolkata’s British colonial past. Here, you can admire historic landmarks such as Raj Bhavan, Calcutta High Court, Town Hall, General Post Office, and Writers' Building.

Proceed to the Victoria Memorial, a grand white marble structure dedicated to Queen Victoria, which houses an extensive collection of paintings, artifacts, and memorabilia from the colonial era. End your day at the Indian Museum, Asia’s oldest and largest museum, renowned for its vast collection of rare artifacts, fossils, ancient sculptures, and Mughal paintings.

After a fascinating day of exploration, return to your hotel for a restful night.

On the final day of your trip, enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel and get some shopping done. Later in the day, depart for the railway station to board your train back home.
