Upon arriving at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, our tour representative will warmly welcome you and assist with your transfer to Gangtok. After completing the check-in formalities at your hotel, take the rest of the day to relax or explore the surroundings at your own pace. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at your hotel in Gangtok.

After a delightful breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Tsongmo Lake, also known as Tsomgo Lake or Changu Lake. This glacial lake is revered by the locals and offers breathtaking views, changing colors with the seasons and remaining frozen in winter.

Next, visit the Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, a temple dedicated to the late soldier of the Indian Army, believed to be a guardian spirit protecting soldiers along the border.

After a day of exploration, return to your hotel in Gangtok and unwind for the night.

Begin your day with a visit to Banjhakri Falls and Energy Park, a scenic recreational area nestled in a dense forest near an army camp. The Banjhakri Falls, fed by natural springs, cascades beautifully from a higher altitude. The park, conceptualized by former Sikkim Chief Minister Pawan Kumar Chamling, highlights Sikkimese shamanic traditions.

Next, explore the Do Drul Chorten, a revered Buddhist stupa built in 1945 by Trulshik Rinpoche, housing sacred relics and scriptures. Continue to the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, a premier center for Tibetan culture, history, and religion. Before wrapping up your Gangtok tour, visit the Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom and the Flower Exhibition Centre for a glimpse into local art and flora.

By noon, set off on a scenic drive to Darjeeling. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax for the night.

Start your day early with a mesmerizing sunrise experience at Tiger Hill, where the first rays of sunlight illuminate the peaks of Kanchenjunga and offer a breathtaking panoramic view of Mount Everest. On your way back, visit the Batasia Loop, an architectural marvel that provides stunning views of Darjeeling’s snow-capped mountains. Stop by the historic Ghoom Monastery, home to a revered 15-foot-tall statue of Maitreya Buddha.

After returning to your hotel for a hearty breakfast, set out for a half-day Darjeeling tour. Begin with the Japanese Buddhist Temple, founded by Nichidatsu Fujii in 1972 and inaugurated in 1992. Next, explore the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, dedicated to wildlife conservation, where you can see rare Himalayan species.

Take a cable car ride on the Darjeeling Ropeway, offering breathtaking aerial views of forests, waterfalls, rivers, tea gardens, and valleys. Continue your tour with visits to the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing and Gombu Rock, and the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre, where you can learn about Tibetan craftsmanship and heritage.

Return to your hotel in the evening and unwind after a day of exploration.

After an early breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed towards New Jalpaiguri Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey to Chennai.
