On your arrival at Noi Bai airport, our local guide and driver will be there to pick you up and take you to the centre of Hanoi and you will check into the hotel. In the afternoon, you will visit the Temple of Literature, which is Vietnam's first university. It was built in 1070, and its gardens and well-preserved buildings give us a peaceful look into Vietnam's history.
You will also stop by Ba Dinh Square to take photos of Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum from the outside. After that, you will visit Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. To explore more, you will then take a bicycle tour around the Old Quarter of Hanoi. Tonight, you will stay at the hotel in Hanoi.
Start the day with a wonderful breakfast. Today, you will head east through beautiful villages where Vietnamese people live and work in the Red River Delta. Your destination will be Halong Bay, recognized as a special place by UNESCO since 1994 and 2006. When you arrive in Halong, you will go to the pier and hop on a lovely traditional wooden boat to cruise through the bay.
During the cruise, you will see interesting rock formations with names like Stone Dog, Incense Burner, and Fighting Cock. While you enjoy the scenery, a tasty seafood lunch will be served on the boat. At the centre of the small islands, there is a cool cave called Thien Cung (Heavenly Residence Grotto) that you can explore, or you can choose to relax on the boat. After about 4 hours of cruising and discovering the bay, you will get off the boat at Halong pier and head back to Hanoi. Stay overnight at the Hanoi hotel.
After having breakfast at the hotel and checking out, you will head to the airport to catch a flight to Saigon, which is now called Ho Chi Minh City. Saigon is a bustling and busy city in Vietnam. When you land, our local guide will pick you up from the airport and take you to the city centre to check into your hotel.
In the evening, your city tour will begin at the Reunification Palace. Inside, there are detailed photo exhibitions, and outside, you will see tanks, planes, and weapons. This museum is a powerful experience that is sure to evoke strong emotions. You will also pass by some European-style landmarks like the City Hall and the old Opera House (you can only view them from the outside). You will make a quick stop to see the Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office, both built in impressive styles. Tonight, you will stay at a hotel in Saigon.
Start your day with a delicious breakfast. Today, you will take a boat ride on the mighty Mekong River to see how local people live along the riverbanks. You will visit one of the four islands in the area for sightseeing. In the heart of a garden, you will enjoy fresh tropical fruits while listening to traditional southern Vietnamese folk music.
Afterward, you will hop on small boats rowed by local people through narrow canals surrounded by water coconut trees. You will visit local factories and take a peaceful horse-cart ride through the village's quiet roads. Later, you will board a larger boat to explore a vast area. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, you will return to Saigon, making a stop to visit Vinh Trang Pagoda. This pagoda is famous for its unique architecture, blending Chinese, Cambodian, and French influences. Tonight, you will stay at the hotel in Saigon.
