Tour Plan

Upon your arrival at Colombo International Airport, our friendly tour representative will be there to greet you and escort you to your hotel. After you’ve had some time to relax and recharge, we’ll head to the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Here, you’ll have the wonderful opportunity to spend time with rescued elephants. Established in 1975, this heartfelt sanctuary is dedicated to caring for injured and abandoned elephants.

Explore Sigiriya, one of Sri Lanka's most famous landmarks and frequently referred to as the Eight Wonders of the World, after breakfast. King Kashyapa constructed the Sigiriya Fortress in the fifth century, and tourists come to investigate it. The citadel lies on a monolithic rock, and tourists must ascend 1200 stairs to get there. Tourists visit the museum to learn more about Sigiriya-related objects and videos in addition to touring the citadel and its gardens.

Check out of your accommodation and travel to Kandy after breakfast. While travelling, stop into Matale's National Spice Gardens to observe the many spices and discover their culinary and therapeutic applications. To learn more about spices and their applications, you can buy spices, enrol in Ayurvedic treatments, and even take a culinary class.

You will tour Kandy and its surroundings today. This comprises the Ceylon Tea Museum, the Bahirawakanda Temple, the Kandy Lake, and the Royal Botanical Gardens. More than 147 acres of plants, including orchids, spices, medicinal plants, and palm trees, make up the Royal Botanical Garden, which was founded in 1821. It was said that the garden had existed since King Wickramaabahu founded it in 1371.

After breakfast today, proceed to Bentota. You have the option of going straight or making a stop in Kithulgala, a little town well-known for its water sports, such as abseiling and whitewater rafting. Belilena Caves and Handun Ella are two other Kithugala attractions. Handun Ella is well-known for its waterfalls, while Belilena Cave is a well-known cave that is thought to have been inhabited more than 32,000 years ago. The Handun, or sandalwood, trees that abound there are the source of the location's name.

You can choose to take a boat ride on the Madu River in the 915-hectare Madu Ganga Estuary or spend the day touring the town at your leisure. Madagaga, the third Ramsar Wetland, is one of the 64 islands that make up the wetland. The Kokaduwa Vihariya is yet another well-liked destination in Madu Ganga.

As you leave the hotel and make your way to the Colombo International Airport to catch your trip back home, say goodbye to Sri Lanka.
